Our new van

Mike and I got a new van on Friday. We purchased a 2002 Ford Econline E350. We had been toying around with the idea of getting a second car or a truck with extended cab. Somehow we landed on a van. The van has two purposes. It's going to be Mike's work van and pick up kids van. We are keeping the driver, passenger and the first row of seats. Mike took our the last two rows of seats for work tools and stuff.

Green beans, please!

Tabor tried green beans for the first time tonight. No weird faces from him. He ate it right of the spoon. He hardly had any of his face. He seems to be a very clean eater. Pretty much like Nathaniel when he ate his first food. Which also was green beans. The only difference was Nathaniel wanting me to keep feeding and was very excited about food. I've noticed that he doesn't seem to share the same excitement for food that Nathaniel did.

I'm 5 months old today!

Tabor is five months old today. I can't believe that five months ago I had a little tiny baby. He weighed 8 lbs and 4 oz. Now, he weighs at least 20 lbs maybe 21 lbs. He still fits in his infant carrier but I think within the next month I will have to buy a new car seat.

My Husband the Carpenter

Mike is a carpenter. He also does demo, hang windows, install flooring, tile, install countertops, siding and framing. My mom FINALLY decided to remodel her kitchen. Her motivation to get it done was before she started watching Tabor on Fridays. The remodel started in May and she is close to being finished. As being one the WORLD'S BEST SON-IN-LAW, he is helping out with some of the demo, doing the interior window trim and removing the oven/stove combo. He's not done yet. The floor is the last and final step in the remodel. When time comes, and hopefully before Tabor is crawling, he will take up the flooring.

Tasty Toes

This past week Tabor has decided that he has tasty toes. On several occasions this week, he has bent over to grab his feet and put them in his mouth. Once he realizes we have noticed what he has been doing, he tries to be more sneaky about it. Mike and I have tried once before to get a picture. Today we succeeded!! I have to say, Tabor sure loves his toes.

My Very First Blog!

I have decided to start a blog about me and my family. There are people that I don't keep in touch with often. I thought that this would be a good place to start. You know, having people check in and see what has been going on in our lives. And also show off pictures of both of my two ADORABLE boys. I am going to do my best to update this as much as possible but that might be easier said than done. Wish me luck! Here's to keeping in touch with friend and family.

And also a recent picture of both my boys. This was taken on the day Grandmother(or Jeannette as Nathaniel calls her)watches them while I am working.
